Excavation inside the kiln is now almost complete so the time consuming but crucial
recording of the kiln structure can begin.
Meanwhile, excavation outside the stoke holes continues apace. We are still looking any covered areas that may have been used to store the fuel used to fire the kiln and investigate any possible sites for ancillary structures.
