Archaeology South-East’s 50th Anniversary Conference is coming up.
Join them for a journey through time and be part of their 50th anniversary. This event is open to anyone interested in the archaeology of the south-east and how ASE and its predecessors have played a key role in pushing forward understanding of our past in this region.

An archaeological and historical exhibition that showcases finds from the mini-dig at St Andrew’s Gardens and the historical timeline of Sussex Place.
Venue: Woodville Theatre, Civic Centre, Gravesend, DA12 1DD.
Times: Until the 31st March, Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 5pm.

As part of the Shorne Woods Country Park Open Day SWAG will be displaying finds from our excavations within the park.
Come and talk to the archaeologists about the 10,000 years of history both above and below the ground in the park.
Learn how you can get involved, even if you have no previous experience.
There will be a free guided walk starting at 11am from the cafe looking at the remains of the clay pit, RAF camp and Randall Manor, duration about 2 hours. Stout footwear recommended.
All ages welcome but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
