Big Dig weekend
A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to help at Shorne for the Big Dig weekend. There were over 220 visitors to the Dig and lots of fun was had by all.
Big Dig Weekend coming soon
The Big Big Weekend is back. The Weekend is held in conjuction with the Festival of Archaeology (Council for British Archaeology). Join us for a tour of the archaeology of Shorne Woods. Details below.
End of an era
We’ve been working in the new cabin for a couple of years now but the old one was still in use. But no longer. The original cabin was recently demolished. Goodbye and thank-you.
Interpretation space at Shorne
The new interpretation display is up! You’ll find it on the ground level near the cafe.
