Dear all,
I am afraid I have some very sad news. Nigel Macpherson Grant has passed away.
Many of you met him over the years, he was a gentle soul, with an amazing giggle and an encyclopaedic knowledge of pottery.
I loved nothing more than filling a room with pottery at Shorne, that we could all mull over under Nigel’s watchful, encouraging eye…
His passing is a huge loss to the study of pottery in the county…
Perhaps, most of all, I will miss the chats we had, in the downtime between puzzling over pot…the wide ranging discussions and lunch at his local greasy spoon…
