A Tree Day was recently organised in Cobham in association with the Woodland Trust.
The morning was spent learning about the work of the Ancient Tree Forum (http://www.ancienttreeforum.co.uk/) before a practical session in the afternoon.
The hornbeam on the old trackway we looked at is probably 250-300 years old and the old oak is 500 years plus!
